This role focuses on .NET Core APIs in an Azure cloud microservices environment, and on enhancing our .NET MAUI Blazor Hybrid mobile application. Analyzes, devises, and modifies procedures to solve complex business problems for critical Mobile and web apps that have a relatively small internal user base.
This is a Software engineer position supporting development of applications using standard and industry best practices for Development and Database management. Skills, Qualifications and Certifications of Best Candidates:

C# with strong knowledge of modern .NET (Core 6/7/8)
ASP.NET Core Web API development
SQLite database interaction (via EF Core or raw ADO.NET)
Experience with .NET MAUI and/or Blazor Hybrid apps
XML parsing and serialization (e.g., XmlSerializer, XDocument)
Working knowledge of HL7 v2.x messaging formats (ADT, ORU, etc.)
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB or Azure SQL, Azure Functions)
Solid understanding of REST API consumption, JWT auth, and token handling
Experience in data transformation/mapping tools or libraries
Basic use of Git and Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines)

Preferred Skills:

Experience with HL7 message
Familiarity with FHIR and healthcare data standards
Understanding of microservice architecture (service communication patterns)
Automated testing frameworks for API and mobile (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, bUnit)
Experience working in offline-first mobile scenarios
Performance tuning SQLite queries

Citizenship or Work Authorization Required:

Ability to obtain and maintain Federal Government Position of Trust
Must be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Education & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related 4-year degree

Compensation for roles at Synergy varies depending on a wide variety of factors including but not limited to the requirements of the role; education and certifications; knowledge, training, skills and abilities; level of experience; geographic location; and alignment with market data, law, and other business and organizational needs. As required by local law, the posted pay range represents the lowest to the highest pay that Synergy believes in good faith it might pay for this particular job, depending on the circumstances. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100,000 – $110,000.
