Senior PI Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA
Pay: $140-145k max plus bonus
Schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office/2 days remote
Summary: As a Senior PI Developer, you’ll play a key role in advancing our data and analytics platform, focusing on the AVEVA OSIsoft PI historian for real-time operational data. You will lead the installation, implementation, upgrades, and configuration of the PI System, as well as manage analytics processes for enhanced strategic outcomes. Additionally, you’ll provide real-time data integration, support SCADA and field application integrations, and help establish roadmaps for high-impact projects.
What you get to do:
- Translate business requirements into Technical Design Specifications and develop code for Control Center applications.
- Ensure continuous availability and performance of the OSI PI Historian for pipeline operations, facilities, and product deliveries.
- Manage PI infrastructure, including installing/configuring OPC Interfaces, PI buffer Subsystem, PI Vision Servers, PI Datalink, and other PI-based solutions.
- Develop and configure PI tags, AF Element templates, dashboards, notifications, and event frames.
- Oversee project planning, application support, system installation, configuration, testing, and tuning.
- Create system models, visualizations, dashboards, and reports to support analytics.
- Support documentation and provide customer interface to resolve issues promptly.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience with AVEVA PI System applications, including data modeling and architecture.
- Strong knowledge of AVEVA OSIsoft PI-Historian, including PI-RTQP, PI SQL, PI Datalink, and PI interfaces.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, Visual Studio, SSIS, and SQL.
- Experience with full life cycle implementations of OSIsoft PI System modules.
