ERP Programmer
Classification - Non-Exempt
Salary Range – $25.00 - $35.00 / Hour
Reports to – President

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The candidate may be required to work additional hours as needed. Some system updates may be required outside of normal work hours.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
This position requires you to develop, construct, program, and implement plans to the network and software structure to reduce downtime, maintenance costs, while maintaining consistency and security. Participate in collaborative department goals to assess growth needs. Stay up to date on the latest technology, software requirements, updates and processes that may directly affect company business procedures and practices. Administer Microsoft 365 applications companywide, and support Syteline ERP users with scheduled system updates, daily maintenance, customization and administration needs.
Essential Functions

- A point of contact for the outside MSP to assist in implementing changes to network infrastructure, and to help provide technical assistance and support to end-users by troubleshooting software, and network-related issues.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory including tracking licenses and warranties.
- Software Management - Assist with the management of all existing software, updating, configuring, and deploying new software by utilizing Infor Syteline, Seagull Bartender, PaceJet, True Commerce, Doc Trak, Shop Trak, Splashtop, MS SQL Server, SSRS, UltraEdit, as required.
- Design, develop, write, test, document, implement, and maintain custom application programs when deemed necessary.
- Assist in the configuration, availability, and upkeep of all Enterprise systems connected to and including the company ERP system (Infor Syteline) by providing technical assistance to solve problems associated with the application programs.
- Assist and train users regarding the company ERP system (Infor Syteline).
- Data Analytics - Report writing, digital dashboard and mass data imports / updates using SQL.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for improving the organization's IT infrastructure.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for reference and training.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear in both office settings (noise level is low) and manufacturing settings (noise level can be high). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk in these environments from 4-8 hours. The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 5 pounds on a daily basis. The vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
Travel
Travel will be required for this position, between the Niles and Hubbard facilities. There may be overnight travel required 1-2 times per year. This position is located on-site.
Required Education and Experience
- Associate degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years of experience with Infor Syteline ERP
- Strong understanding of business system processing from orders to cash, including manufacturing
- 1-3 years of experience with SQL and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) libraries in languages like Java (Hibernate) or .NET (Entity Framework)
- Strong understanding of Transact SQL, database definition, and SQL Server Agent
- Strong understanding of SSRS Reporting, Seagull Bartender design and integration services
- Strong understanding of integration between Syteline and Shop Trak / Doc Trak, Ture commerce (EDI), Pacejet, and Bartender from a developer standpoint
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree / Tech. school or equivalent certification
- Business system analytics experience
- 3-5 years of SQL Server / database administration
- 3-5 years of experience with Infor Syteline ERP
- Mongoose Programing background
- IT Support in a Manufacturing / Distribution environment
- Cloud Technologies
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting.
