Azure Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Cloud Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Azure services and tools, as well as experience in managing and securing cloud-based solutions.

Valkre is the leading provider of Key Account Management software. The company has a who’s who roster of customers representing the best Key Account Management programs in the world. Valkre also works closely with the Strategic Account Management Association. Valkre holds a market leadership position that is moving towards the next level of scale.
The company is located in Chicago, Fulton Market. We continue to work primarily on a virtual basis with a target of getting together at least once per month. This policy could change to where we get together somewhat more often but we do not anticipate working in an office full time.

Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, and security.
- Manage Azure subscriptions and resources, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization.
- Deploy and manage virtual machines into virtual networks.
- Configure and manage virtual networks, including public and private IP addresses.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls, encryption, and access control lists.
- Monitor the performance and health of Azure services and resources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services, networking, and cloud applications.
- Configure and manage Azure Sentinel for security information and event management (SIEM) and security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR).
- Implement and manage Azure Backup and Site Recovery for data protection and disaster recovery.
- Determine and manage how resources interact at the platform level to continuously provide value from the original deployment, such as auto-scaling VMs, metrics, and resource tagging.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Azure services and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure administration
- Strong understanding of Azure services and tools, including Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
- Experience with managing and securing cloud-based solutions
- Experience with Azure firewalls, web application front ends, Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines, and Azure Sentinel
- Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes
- Thorough knowledge of networking tasks along with expertise in Azure networking stack
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

Pay: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
