We are looking for an experienced .NET web developer to join our team. The Senior Web Developer will lead the development and testing of a new web security portal. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in both cybersecurity and web development, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Knowledge of PII, OAuth2, and Azure DevOps is essential.

Work Location: This is a hybrid role. The candidate must be onsite in Springfield, Illinois for the first 30 days, followed by a schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week.

Candidates must be based out of Springfield, IL, or within a commutable distance.

Job Requirements:

Strong experience in C#, ASP.Net, .Net Core, SQL, OAuth2, Azure DevOps, and Restful API development.
A minimum of 8 years of experience as a senior web developer.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with personal (PII) data privacy regulations.
In-depth knowledge of OAuth2 principles and web security applications.
Proven track record of using Azure DevOps for project planning and tracking.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and business analysts.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and testing of the new web security portal project.
Leverage expertise in cybersecurity and web development to ensure the portal's security and performance.
Implement security best practices, particularly regarding the handling of Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
Apply OAuth2 principles to improve the security framework of the portal.
Collaborate with the team using Azure DevOps for project task planning and tracking, adhering to agile methodology.
Work closely with developers, project managers, and business analysts to meet project goals.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

Familiarity with agile methodology and its implementation in software development projects.
Experience in developing cutting-edge security portals.
Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in web security and development.
