Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 (M365) / Azure Engineer to lead the design, deployment, management, and optimization of the Beemok M365 / Azure environment. This role requires expertise in M365 services, including deployment, migration, Intune, Azure infrastructure, and PowerShell scripting. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of networking concepts, including Cisco Umbrella, basic firewall configuration, and switch management.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft 365 Administration
· Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Beemok M365 environment (Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
· Assist in the development of and improvement of our Azure Active Directory and complementary platforms.
· Plan and execute migrations from on-premises systems to M365 / Azure cloud services.
· Develop and enforce security policies using tools like Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Defender for Office 365.
· Manage endpoint devices through Microsoft Intune (Windows 10/11, macOS, iOS, Android).
· Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting.
Azure Infrastructure
· Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and its components
· Deploy and manage Azure resources such as virtual machines (VMs), network security groups (NSGs), and resource groups.
· Monitor Azure environments
· Integrate 3rd party applications
Networking & Security
· Integrate M365 services with Cisco Umbrella for enhanced DNS-layer security.
· Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to M365 services.
Collaboration & Support
· Provide Tier 2/3 support for M365 / Azure related issues.
· Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
· Document technical procedures and provide training to junior team members.
· Stay updated on the latest M365 / Azure features and understand how these can be implemented to add efficiency and security to our businesses
Qualifications and Proficiencies
Required
· Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing complex Microsoft 365 / Azure / Azure AD environments.
· Expertise in:
o Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
o PowerShell scripting for automation.
o Azure AD configuration and management.
o Experience with M365 migrations and hybrid deployments.
o Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, firewalls, VPNs, and Cisco Umbrella.
Preferred
· Certifications: AZ900, AZ104 or similar
· Knowledge of Cisco Umbrella configuration and integration with M365 services.
· Experience with basic switch configuration and troubleshooting.
Skills
· Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
· Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
