The Technical Marketing Manager will play a technical leadership role for the E3.series product line. The ideal individual will be a highly organized self-starter, with excellent communication skills and have a solid understanding of web content development and marketing tools. A strong technical background in cable/wire harness and panel design is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product Expertise - Develop a deep understanding of the E3.series product line. Be a E3.series technical resource for the US organization. Develop an understanding and demo proficiency with GENESYS
- Model Based Design - Be the technical lead for developing a model-based wire harness design process. Be the technical marketing lead on a GENESYS to E3.series connector. Become familiar with Digital Engineering topics and industry developments.
- Lead Generation Content - Define, create and own the E3.series Test Drive process. Define and create content in the form of videos, whitepapers, webinars, etc. Support marketing campaigns as needed.
- Sales Support - Create product demonstration material to be used in the sale process. Deliver sales support as needed in the form of product demonstrations, presentations and onsite visits.
- Community Advocate - Be an advocate for the E3.series Community. Contribute tool tips and forum responses on a regular basis.
- Partner Technical Liaison - Own the technical relationship with our E3.series partners. Ensure our partners have a favorable presence on our website through messaging and content. Work collaboratively to develop joint presentations and product demonstrations.
- Engineering Liaison - Work closely with the E3.series Product Director to define and promote new product requirements.
- Industry Activities - Participate in industry events and publications (e.g., write and deliver papers). Support Zuken’s participation in industry events (e.g., tradeshows)
Qualifications
Minimum: 5 years of experience as a field applications engineer, technical marketing engineer and/or design engineer. Hands-on CAD experience with one or more schematic capture tools.
Preferred: 5+ years of experience as a field applications engineer focused on cabling and wire harness design. Programming experience with Visual Basic and the .NET framework. Knowledge of Access, SQL and Oracle database design, setup and manipulation.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have outstanding communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be capable of working in both a team environment and individually. Strong customer relation skills a must. Business travel requirements range between 25% - 50% of the employee’s time.
