Full Job Description
As a full stack developer, skills are needed in both front end and back-end development. Daily work with C#, T-SQL, Bootstrap, CSS3, HTML5, ASP.NET Webforms, ASP.NET Web APIs, .NET Windows Forms apps, AWS infrastructure, and SQL Server can be expected.
This position will assist with enhancements and fixes for existing software systems as well as work at the team level on the design and implementation of new end-to-end software solutions with Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio utilizing the C# and T-SQL programming languages. These systems and solutions support our RESTful API driven Tap&App product line as well as the WashCard Systems loyalty card and credit card processing systems in both AWS and local Microsoft Windows environments.
These solutions also involve a number of external integrations, with the associated payment technology security and compliance concerns. As a result, familiarity with the payment industry is an advantage for hitting the ground running, but not a requirement. Additionally, this position will be a part of the team which is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, scaling, and securing the SQL Server databases and AWS instances which are part of our overall cloud solutions. To this end, we are seeking an applicant who is familiar with both AWS instance management and SQL Server's backup/recovery and failover strategies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Visual Studio Experience and C# Language Proficiency

- ASP.NET RESTFUL development for Web Services and APIs
- SQL Server Experience and T-SQL Language Proficiency
◦ Applicant must be capable of writing ad-hoc queries as well as creating and maintaining stored procedures and indexes and adjusting queries for performance improvements as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
Experience: 3-plus years of Microsoft development experience strongly preferred.
