We are in the process of recruiting a Bankruptcy Paralegal to join our team within a legal setting in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will be tasked with handling various paralegal duties, including document management, case management, and customer complaint resolution. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Utilize Adobe Acrobat for document handling and management.
- Ensure efficient case management using relevant software.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and with excellent communication skills.
- Manage calendars effectively, ensuring all deadlines and schedules are met.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for data entry, communication, and document creation.
- Draft and file motions as part of the bankruptcy process.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer records.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary.
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document creation and editing
- Strong calendar management skills to effectively organize and schedule appointments
- Familiarity with Case Management Software to track and manage legal proceedings
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Experience in complaint handling to resolve client issues effectively
- Knowledge of Document Management systems for maintaining and organizing critical documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record keeping
- Expertise in Microsoft Outlook for detail oriented email and calendar management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word for creating and editing legal documents
- Experience in drafting and filing Motions in bankruptcy cases
