Summary:
Arrowhead is seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive networking knowledge and hands-on experience with Meraki, Sonicwall, and Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki switching and wireless, and a strong grasp of network infrastructure, security, and optimization. This role requires expertise in SD-WAN, WAN/LAN and VPN technologies, VLAN segmentation and security, DNS and DHCP, network security principles, and a fundamental understanding of network troubleshooting procedures.
Duties:
- Develop, implement, and support network infrastructure, hardware, and network software components, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Configure and manage network solutions including but not limited to Meraki, Palo Alto, and Sonicwall firewalls, and Meraki switching and wireless.
- Conduct network performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability.
- Assist in the design and deployment of network security measures to safeguard the organization’s network.
- Provide support for network-related issues via the ticketing system and collaborate with internal IT teams and vendors as necessary.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including topologies, configurations, and policies.
- Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Configure and maintain VPNs for secure remote access and site-to-site connectivity.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, security threats, and emerging technologies to optimize the network infrastructure.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline, OR up-to-date networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CMNA, PCNSA/PCNSE, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience in networking, including hands-on experience with Meraki, Palo Alto, and Sonicwall.
- Strong knowledge in WAN/LAN technologies, SD-WAN, VLAN segmentation, L3/L7 rules and routing, DNS, and DHCP protocols.
- Experience with ZTNA.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Proficiency in network security principles, firewall policies, network segmentation, and VPN configurations.
- Proficiency in cloud networking solutions (Azure and AWS).
- Experience in large-scale enterprise networks with complex configurations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an IT team.
- 10% travel required.
