Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer for an end client requirement.
The Lead - Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing server programs for distribution center management. This role understands business and customer requirements that drive the design of the technical solutions and participate in all phases of product development lifecycle. The Lead - Software Engineer also resolves site requirement changes, and support solutions to complete designed equipment installation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles complex application development.
- Setups and configures of servers, line controllers and workstations.
- Installs on-site systems and maintains them through testing and troubleshooting.
- Creates and designs server table layout and coordination.
- Coordinates aspects of server and system testing and maintains technical documentation and resources to insure proper project execution.
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 4 years of experience in .NET, C#, SQL, Azure, Blazor
- Experience as a Full stack developmen with substantial SQL backend experience
- Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred
- 8+ years progressive Software Engineering experience required.
- Periodic travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
- Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
- Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
- Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in the WMS, WCS, or WES space and possess a proven track record of problem-solving and working independently within both product and project environments, as the team has limited bandwidth for extensive onboarding.
Travel: may travel up to 10% domestically
