Job Summary:
Azure Standard's Fleet Support position reports to the Compliance and Transportation Manager and works closely to support the logistics team to ensure the equipment is maintained, repaired, and in compliance with all DOT regulations. This position serves as a central connection point of information flowing between multiple drivers, repair shops, vendors, and the logistics department. It requires competency with detail-oriented work, and dependable follow through with assigned tasks.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and logistics support to the Equipment Compliance Manager and the Fleet Equipment Supervisor.
- Updates Fleet Programs with vehicle information, maintenance schedules, repairs, notes, technician diagnosis and recommendations for all fleet vehicles.
- Assists in coordination and scheduling routine maintenance and repairs for fleet vehicles, including preventative maintenance, tire rotations, inspections and major repairs, by working with mechanics and outside vendors.
- Coordinates with drivers to schedule maintenance appointments, report vehicle issues and address concerns.
- Tracking open repair orders.
- Assists in maintaining all fleet records to ensure compliance per FMCSA DOT guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating sub equipment as needed, including communicating throughout the process with the driver and logistics team.
- Assists with obtaining and updating all equipment with documentation for compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Maintains & updates Accident, Incident and Violation files.
- Providing exceptional support to the members of the logistics team including drivers, troubleshooting when needed.
- Assist with ELD issues with drivers and maintaining logs.
- Assists with adding and removing equipment to various agencies as per regulatory requirements.
- Assists with booking freight through 3rd parry logistics companies for assets as needed.
- Zoom meeting will be in progress and attendance is required in the entirety of your hours listed above, excluding your ½ hour lunch break.

What You'll Bring to the Team:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of increasingly responsible office work experience.
- Preferred previous experience with scheduling and compliance-related materials
- Interest in continuous learning, technically savvy, flexible, and a team-player.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook and Google Docs).
- Organizational and analytical skills. Ability to prioritize a task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Must have the ability to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with drivers, mechanical personnel and other vendors.
- Proficiency in data entry, record keeping and an astute attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
- Meet all physical requirements of the position.
- Pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by company policy.
- 18 years of age or older Legally authorized to work in the United States.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Hours of work are a minimum forty hours per week Hours: Monday- Friday 10 am- to 6 pm ET/ 7 am- 3 pm PST are standard hours of service however, after hours may be required to handle after hour situations. Zoom meeting will be in progress and attendance is required in the entirety of your hours listed above, excluding your ½ hour lunch break.
