What We are Looking for:
We are seeking an experienced .NET Core Backend Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs hosted on AWS. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework, as well as a strong grasp of service-oriented architectures, web services, and RESTful APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure backend solutions.
This is a hybrid role in the Dallas area.
Job Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality backend applications using .NET Core
-
Design and manage APIs hosted on AWS EC2, ensuring optimal performance and availability

Collaborate with front-end developers, product owners, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
-
Implement and maintain SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) and REST services
-
Integrate with ORMs (Entity Framework, NHibernate, LINQ, etc.) to manage data models effectively
-
Write and optimize SQL queries for various RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
-
Ensure continuous integration and smooth deployment pipelines, including build and release processes
-
Design and implement multi-layered application architectures, ensuring scalability and maintainability
-
Monitor application health and troubleshoot performance issues on Linux and Windows servers
-
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation
Position Qualifications:

Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework

Excellent command of English (capable of independently leading meetings)

Proven experience with SOA, web services, and RESTful APIs

Hands-on experience with ORMs (Entity Framework, NHibernate, LINQ, etc.)

Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL, or Oracle

Practical knowledge of continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
-
Linux server administration skills (basic to intermediate)

Familiarity with software architectures and multi-tier application design principles

Experience hosting and managing solutions on AWS EC2, API GW, Nginx, ELB, ECS etc.Soft Skills
Additional/Preferred Skills

Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker)

Experience with other AWS services (e.g., RDS, S3, ECS, Lambda)

Familiarity with cloud networking and security best practices on AWS

Agile/Scrum methodology experience

Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

Experience with TDD (Test-Driven Development) and unit testing frameworks

Good grasp of Git workflows, code reviews, and version control best practices
