Location: United States - Westport, CT | Full-Time | Office Based with Possible Remote (2 remote days)

As a Full Stack Developer here at Synergy, you will be a critical element of the client support team, working under the direction of, as well as closely collaborating with, the Senior Developer to support Synergy’s entire solution development process. From designing user interfaces to implementing server-side logic and data management, you’ll have your hands in every part of the process and will be regularly involved in supporting Synergy’s key deliverables to clients at all levels.
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in working with front-and-back-end applications, process automation and data management. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking, as you will be working on multiple projects in varying stages of development at any one time. Any certifications you have are a plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Front- and Back-end development: you will develop and implement user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, as well as design and develop server-side logic, APIs, and databases with programming languages like Node.js. You will collaborate with other UI/UX designers and manage data storage, retrieval and manipulation efficiently to ensure system security.
- Database management: you will design and maintain databases to store and retrieve application data, both SQL and NoSQL. Data migration and transformation and database performance will also be part of your responsibilities.
- Integration, testing, and debugging: you will work with other developers and teams to integrate third-party services, APIs, and tools as needed, as well as write unit tests and perform debugging to ensure reliability and performance within the system.
- Collaboration and documentation: you will create and maintain accurate records for each version of code, APIs, and system architecture that you release. You will collaborate across teams within the organization in order to manage and maintain our codebase.
Role requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
- Knowledge in all or many of these technologies preferred:
- C# .Net
- .Net Core
- Node.js
- Typescript
- React
- ORM
- SQL
- Microsoft Power Platform
- SharePoint
- Cloud computing (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- WEBCON, Nintex, or other similar process automation tools
- Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills and a high sense of self-motivation to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Visible positive attitude with a passion for working with people and learning new skills
