Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure solutions. This role will focus on automating deployments, securing cloud environments, and ensuring high availability for applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS services to support automated deployments.
- Develop and enforce best practices for version control, configuration management, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Deploy and manage serverless applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, ensuring optimal performance.
- Oversee container orchestration with AWS Elastic Container Services (ECS) to support scalable microservices architecture.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, bucket encryption, and compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize infrastructure for distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide 24/7 support to minimize downtime.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers in AWS best practices and cloud automation.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, including IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in deploying and managing containerized applications using AWS ECS or EKS.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and best practices for cloud automation.
