We've just landed our first enterprise client (a World Bank backed climate finance fund) and need a developer to join our team as we scale from MVP to enterprise-grade solution. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work on a product with significant social impact.
The initial sprint will focus on implementing enterprise user management features, working alongside senior developers. This will involve regular periods of intensive work as we implement new features and ensure existing features perform reliably, at scale.
The company is 100% remote, and we're open to contractors in North/South America and European time zones (UTC-7 to UTC+1).
Key Requirements:
Strong foundation in .NET Core (C#) development
Experience with or strong interest in modern frontend development (Svelte/Tailwind)
Basic understanding of authentication/authorization concepts
Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment
Technical Skills:
- Front End: Svelte / Tailwind, Javascript / HTML / CSS generally; serverless
- Back End: .NET Core (C#) and Docker; MySQL / Postgres; familiarity with AWS / object stores / high perf / memcached/Redis is a plus

Application Question(s):
- Share a story about a time you rescued a project that was in serious jeopardy (we're not QUITE at that point but we all have these stories - don't we?)
- Describe one of the craziest / most unexpected solutions you ever came up with for a technical challenge? (once I had to rewrite an Adobe Premiere codec in a hotel lobby)
- Given it's 2025 I hope you are using AI copilots but tell me how you use them.
- Do you plan to delegate work on this project to an existing team? (If so, that won't work - we are going to hire a team together)
