Based in Holland Ohio, Hamilton is an established and growing organization in need of a .Net Web API Developer. What will our .Net Web API Developer do?
The primary role is to develop and manage software solutions that interface with our cloud-based services, custom mobile app program, and pay stations.
· Collaborate with the engineering team to evaluate and translate business requirements into technical specifications, establishing scope for web API development
· Design, develop, test, and deploy web API’s
· Maintain and support web API’s post-deployment, enhancing and/or implementing new features as the market demands
· Support front-end web developers as needed
· Meet stated milestone dates and deadlines
· Evaluate development processes for improvement
· Perform other duties as needed
Requirements
· Minimum 2-4 years development experience
· Must be familiar with the software design cycle from initial design, development, and testing through to deployment and long-term maintenance
· Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
· .NET, .NET Core, C#, WCF, Entity Framework
· Knowledge of RESTful principals
· Knowledge of software development security best practices
· Experience with Database Architecture and Database Management
Preferred but not Required
· BS in Computer Science Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related field
Experience with:
· SQL Azure
· Azure Services
· T-SQL
· ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
· IIS
