Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Back End Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will collaborate with front end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, while also participating in the design and implementation of APIs and microservices.
Duties
- Develop and maintain robust back-end components using technologies such as .NET, Ruby on Rails, and Express.
- Design and implement APIs for seamless integration between server-side applications and front-end interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Create and manage web services, including WCF services, ensuring they meet performance standards.
- Utilize XSLT for transforming XML data into different formats as required by the application.
- Implement microservices architecture to enhance scalability and maintainability of applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing back-end systems for improved performance.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Requirements
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as .NET, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with web services development (WCF, RESTful APIs).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies like React is a plus.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Knowledge of Visual Studio or similar development environments.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams is preferred.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code with a focus on performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
