Job Summary

We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with relational databases, an understanding of data modeling, and proficiency in the Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including C#, .NET, and Blazor. This role offers the opportunity to work on a cloud-based platform supporting aviation maintenance operations.

This is a remote position, but we prefer candidates who are located within 200 miles of Washington, DC, as occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications using C#, .NET, and Javascript
Design, implement, and optimize relational database structures
Work with Azure cloud services to deploy and manage applications
Collaborate with senior developers to refine system architecture and performance
Troubleshoot and debug software issues
Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Assist in integrating third-party APIs and services

Required Qualifications

Experience with relational databases and a good understanding of data modeling
Proficiency in C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, and Javascript
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., App Services, Functions, SQL Databases)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with FAA regulatory data, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Flutter or Blazor
Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of authentication and security best practices
