On behalf of our Client from USA, Mobilunity is looking for a Full-Stack Developer (jQuery+ASP.NET).
Our client is a platform that empowers the financial community with powerful tools, actionable data, and seamless connectivity, helping firms, corporations, and research providers improve efficiency and maximize returns on effort.
We are seeking a team of Full-Stack Developer to support our frontend team, responsible for developing both customer-facing features that span the entire breath of clients’s product line.
The ideal candidates are strong technologists comfortable with the gamut of web technologies and willing to dive in an existing jQuery, CSS and ASP.NET MVC application. They possesses robust technical skills in frontend development, along with a solid understanding of APIs, systems, and backend technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of client-facing applications, with a focus on performance, usability, and accessibility.
- Adapt to and work with a broad range of technologies.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers (PMs), designers, and other teams within a remote-first environment.
- Be involved in projects from start to finish, taking tasks directly from the team’s lead.
- Focus on jQuery, frontend development, and ASP.NET MVC as part of your role.
- Draw inspiration from existing practices, following team patterns with an emphasis on velocity.
Who You Are:
- You have strong frontend development experience with jQuery, vanilla CSS, and some .NET. Experience with TypeScript and React is also beneficial, although this project primarily focuses on jQuery and ASP.NET MVC.
- Have a solid understanding of application and system design and can dive into large, complex codebases, including legacy ones.
- Are comfortable reusing existing patterns, tools, and libraries while adapting to an established environment.
- Can debug issues in distributed systems with minimal supervision.
- Have empathy for users and care about creating user-friendly experiences.
- Are primarily a frontend engineer but are willing to navigate, debug, and contribute to the .NET codebase when necessary, bridging the gap between frontend and backend development.
- Experience working with financial applications or similar complex business logic is a plus.
- Level of English – Upper-Intermediate and higher.
Would be a plus:
- Experience with modernizing legacy applications.
- Knowledge of UI/UX principles for improving user experience in legacy systems.
