This position is for a Specialist - Software Application Engineer responsible for implementing unique solutions that support our business within a highly distributed .NET application infrastructure with a focus on micro frontend/services architecture. Sales and Service Technology is a forward leaning development organization that leverages Agile development methodologies. The position will be responsible for implementation, testing, and support of assigned applications and application components within the Sales and Service Technology portfolio. This position will interact with business stakeholders and technology counterparts across many areas within Schwab.
The ability to work with agile team members while building and maintaining a highly distributed .NET application. Implement robust, fault tolerant software to meet functional requirements that has 24x7x365 availability. Provide expertise in web based, distributed and cloud-based computing application development.
Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

1-3 years of .NET programming experience.

1-3 years of Angular programming experience.

1-3 years of API development experience.

Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized and driven by nature.
Preferred qualifications:

Familiarity with GIT based source control.

Familiarity with Jira and Confluence systems.

Working knowledge of the Agile/Scrum development methodology.
