Senior .NET Developer - Merchant Engagement Platform Modernization (Merchant Services Focus)
About the Role:
Join us in revitalizing our core Merchant Engagement Platform! This legacy platform is undergoing a critical modernization to support our rapidly expanding merchant services. We need a proactive, self-starting Senior .NET Developer to drive this transformation and contribute to our growth initiative.
What You'll Do:
- Modernize a Legacy: Play a key role in refactoring and modernizing a critical, existing platform.
- Drive Growth: Develop and maintain critical components of our Merchant Engagement Platform, focusing on merchant services enhancements.
- Architect for the Future: Design and implement microservices to support scalability and future growth.
- Data and Integration: Work with MongoDB, SQL Server, Kafka, and Apigee to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
- Ensure Quality: Build and execute automated API tests, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Take Ownership: Be a self-starter, taking initiative to improve processes and drive solutions.
What You Bring:
- 4+ years of .NET development experience, with a focus on modernizing legacy systems.
- Expertise in .NET Core 6+ (preferably 8) and .NET Framework.
- Proven experience designing and implementing microservices.
- Strong proficiency with MongoDB and SQL Server.
- Practical experience with Kafka and Apigee.
- Demonstrated ability to write and execute automated API tests.
- Experience in merchant services.
- Proactive and self starting work ethic.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with PCF or OpenShift cloud platforms.
