IATSE National Benefit Funds, a multi-employer Taft Hartley Benefit Fund, located in midtown Manhattan is seeking a Full Stack Software Developer.
Our Full Staff Developer will primarily be responsible for supporting and enhancing our organization's software infrastructure, while also participating in related software development projects using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires expertise in the Microsoft stack.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for our software application ensuring its stability, performance, and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and design effective solutions and other procedural languages.
- Participate in the implementation of new software applications using the Microsoft technology stack, including but not limited to .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
- Work closely with business partners to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement new features and functionalities in Microsoft stack applications.
- Troubleshoot and debug software defects in Microsoft stack applications, addressing issues promptly to ensure optimal system performance.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices in Microsoft stack environments.
- Perform thorough testing and validation of software applications to ensure high-quality deliverables in Microsoft stack applications.
- Collaborate with business partners to gather feedback and incorporate it into the software development process for Microsoft stack applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
- Experience and expertise of web development technologies such as React, HTML, JS, CSS, JavaScript,
- Experience in Electron is a plus.
- Experience supporting and enhancing software applications.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or TFS.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices, and relevant experience, is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical business partners effectively.
- Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
