As we continue to grow, we are seeking a versatile IT Systems and Software Specialist to support and enhance our production-critical IT infrastructure and custom software systems.
Job Description:
We are seeking a technically skilled and self-directed IT Systems and Software Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on the support and development of custom .NET-based applications, integration of third-party systems, and maintaining critical infrastructure across both Windows and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both software development and hands-on IT troubleshooting, and will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, security, and efficiency across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain front-end and back-end .NET applications.
- Create and support Windows Services for system integrations (e.g., PolyWorks, MS Graph, WinSCP).
- Automate inspection and CNC processes using PolyWorks SDK and MSCL scripting.
- Manage IIS deployments and build installers using packaging tools.
- Implement version control and basic CI/testing with Git and GitHub.
- Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Maintain secure, production-critical infrastructure aligned with ITAR.
- Document systems, development work, and IT procedures.
- Train staff on systems developed and supported by the IT team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience with C#/.NET development.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and database design.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET (Razor or Blazor), SignalR, and Git.
- Ability to support both software and IT infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Organized, self-directed, and responsive to changing business needs.
