EFJohnson provides wireless communications products and systems for public safety, commercial, and government customers. We design, manufacture, and market conventional and trunked radio systems, land mobile radio repeaters and mobile and portable radios, including Project 25 digital radio products.
The Infrastructure Engineering department at EFJohnson has an immediate opening for a Windows developer with experience in C# Object Oriented design and development. The selected candidate will work in the R&D group developing software on our dispatcher product.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Develop and maintain software for EF Johnson’s Dispatch Console.

Interpret functional and business requirements, design and implement solutions and architecture suited to our current business model and enhance them.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or other closely related field. Appropriate work experience is acceptable.

1+ years of experience in building desktop applications using C# and WPF.

1+ years of experience working with .NET framework 4.6 and above.
COMPETENCIES:
-
Knowledge on Git suite of products – gitlab, github and bitbucket.

Hands on experience with object-oriented design and implementation using C#

Experience working with XAML and MVVM design pattern.

Experience writing custom WPF controls and custom styles.

Has good understanding related to Prism Unity containers.

Familiar with multithreading.

Experience in creating a nuget package and uploading it to a nuget server and utilizing it in the Solution.

Experience working with SQL server or SQLite.

Strong understanding of the SOLID principles.

Working experience with InstallShield or other equivalent projects.

Huge Plus - Experience working with C++.

Proven ability to write clean, readable testable code in small team environment.
