About The Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and extending the end-to-end Revenue Management System at Cloudbeds. You will work closely with data and product teams to integrate AI models into our .NET Core backend APIs and build data pipelines that ensure availability and reliability across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to scalable, high-performance systems within a fast-growing technology company.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain application code within the C#/.NET Core framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities that drive revenue growth
Implement automated testing and deployment to ensure system reliability and scalability
Mentor and support junior engineers in enhancing their skills and knowledge
Optimize application performance and scalability
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

5+ years experience as a full-stack engineer in web application development
5+ years expertise with C# and .NET Core
1+ years experience designing and developing event-driven microservices
Strong knowledge of databases and data storage solutions, including SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks
Experience with modern infrastructure tooling such as DataDog, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
Familiarity with building highly available, scalable, secure, and automated systems
Proficient in SOLID principles and software design patterns
Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking applied to complex business challenges
Excellent communication skills and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
