Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity near Columbia, SC. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET, C#, SQL, and exposure to job scheduling and low-code platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable .NET applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C#.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
- Implement and manage job scheduling using UC4 (Automic).
- Work with OutSystems or similar low-code platforms for application development.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.
- Ensure best practices and high-quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Framework/Core and C#.
- Extensive experience with SQL Server and relational database design.
- Working knowledge of UC4 (Automic job scheduling tool).
- Experience with OutSystems or other low-code development platforms is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
