Position: .NET C# Platform Engineer

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Platform Engineer to join our team in supporting both game development and backend infrastructure. This role involves working across a diverse technology stack to create robust systems, tackle field-reported issues, and develop tools and frameworks that empower both developers and operations. If you enjoy solving complex problems and building clean, maintainable software, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Designs, builds, and maintains an internal developer platform (IDP) to streamline software development and delivery
Game engine components and core business logic
Hardware interfaces (USB, serial, and other device communications)
Internal admin tools (desktop and web-based)
Build and deployment scripts
Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported from the field, analyzing logs and diagnosing problems across hardware, software, and network layers
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following modern development practices
Participate in code reviews and design sessions
Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tooling, and system performance

What We're Looking For

3–5+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework
Experience building UI applications (desktop or web)
Solid SQL Server experience, including writing and optimizing queries
Familiarity with build systems and automation (preferably Jenkins)
Demonstrated experience writing and maintaining unit tests
Understanding of hardware or network communication protocols
Proficiency with source control systems (SVN or Git)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a keen attention to detail
