Summary
The primary role of the Business Systems Senior Developer is to ensure the timely delivery of efficient and effective technology applications to address business needs for Frontier Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for full stack development of applications including all aspects of the database, API, and user interfaces. The role also requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure that junior developers and analysts receive proper guidance and mentorship.
General Duties & Responsibilities
· Software Solution Development
o Work with all stakeholders to define solution design parameters, technology selections, and project scopes for software solutions.
o Use a variety of technical skills to develop software solutions for all aspects of Frontier Logistics' business processes.
o Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship for other developers and analysts to ensure adherence to established coding, documentation, and quality standards.
o Work with key users to design RPA testing patterns for developed solutions.
o Design, monitor, and maintain the CICD pipelines.
· Software Solutions Support
o Participate as an escalated member of the Technical Support team.
o Proactively manage and close all assigned support items.
o As necessary, provide oversight of the Technical Support team when other managers are absent.
· Professional Development
o Commit to a pattern of continuous improvement practices designed to increase technical aptitude and acumen.
o Participate in applicable business discussions and learning opportunities to become more familiar with the business operations (both technical and non-technical) of Frontier Logistics.
o Assist with the professional development of other Frontier Logistics personnel to elevate technology awareness and aptitude within the Business Systems Development group and across the company as a whole.
o Participate in the analysis and selection of tools and technologies that can potentially improve the development of business systems solutions.
o Review and establish standards and processes to improve the effectiveness of current and future developers at Frontier Logistics.
· Business Development
o As necessary, participate with the customer relationship process through presentation of software solutions to customers.
o Work with customers to identify business/technology requirements and facilitate the technological aspects of addressing those needs.
o Work with other Frontier Logistics personnel to satisfy customer needs.
Ideal Knowledge
· Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Ideal Experience
· 5-7 years experience in developing .NET software solutions for warehousing, manufacturing and/or transportation operations.
Ideal Skills
· Expert-level proficiency in all core Frontier Logistics development technologies:
o Visual Studio, C#, and Blazor
o SQL Server, SSMS, and Redgate Toolbelt
o Power BI, Power Automate, and Copilot
o AI technologies such as Azure AI Services, ML.NET, OpenAPI
o Telerik Blazor controls and Reporting tools.
· Exceptional problem-solver with strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proven track record of advancing the careers of less-experienced developers.
· Ability to create rich, intuitive, and visually compelling user interfaces.
· Strong understanding of CICD pipeline tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy.
Essential Knowledge
· Professional leadership experience working in a team environment to develop full-stack technology solutions.
Essential Experience
· 3-5 years experience in developing full-stack .NET software solutions using C#.

· Demonstrable proficiency in most core Frontier Logistics development technologies:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
