Balance Technology Inc. (BTI) is seeking a talented Engineering Software Developer to join our team developing measurement and control software for precision industrial balancing and gauging equipment. This is an opportunity to work in a highly specialized domain where your code interfaces with mechanical systems and ensures high-performance, high-precision results.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain software using C# and the .NET framework for industrial measurement and control applications
- Support and enhance existing legacy VB6 applications that are still mission-critical
- Interface with hardware, sensors, and industrial controllers to deliver reliable machine behavior
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand and solve technical challenges
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and system design discussions
- Contribute to and improve our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring stable and frequent software releases
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in C# and .NET application development
- Strong understanding of vectors, matrices, 2D and 3D geometry and trigonometry, and numerical analysis
- Familiarity with Visual Basic 6 (VB6) and a willingness to work with legacy code
- Strong understanding of industrial systems, control logic, or hardware/software integration (a plus)
- Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
