Job Title: System Software Programmer - Project Lead
Location: Columbia, SC (75% On-Site)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: $124-149K depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP (Open to SC residents or those willing to relocate at their own expense)
We are a recruiting and staffing agency supporting a South Carolina state department in hiring a skilled System Software Programmer - Project Lead. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the potential for extension.
Job Summary:
The role requires strong expertise in Angular and extensive experience with Microsoft .NET architecture to design and implement medium to large-scale software systems. Candidates should have a solid background in developing data-driven applications with relational databases and building scalable, secure web-based systems using N-tier architectures. Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and multiple application, database, messaging, or web server systems is essential. Experience with Agile development and testing tools for performance, security, and regression is a plus.
Key Requirements:

7+ years designing and implementing software with Microsoft .NET

5+ years developing data-driven applications with relational databases

5+ years building scalable, secure web-based systems using N-tier architecture

Familiarity with Microsoft OS and multiple server systems

Proven success in designing and implementing software components
Preferred:

Agile software development experience

Experience with performance, security, and regression testing tools
Additional Information:
Candidates must be SC residents or willing to relocate to South Carolina prior to the start date
Hybrid role with 75% on-site requirement
