Full Stack Engineer

Robert Half is looking for a motivated FullStack Software Engineer for a long term contract. The ideal candidate will have experience with both frontend and backend technologies, a strong understanding of software testing principles, and the curiosity to explore untested areas of the system to build quality into the product from the start. This role will be a long term contract and will require 3 days working onsite.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address gaps in existing tools and testing processes.
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack internal solutions using proprietary platforms.
Build robust backend services using Python or Go.
Create interactive frontend components using TypeScript and JavaScript.
Review and write automated tests to validate business-critical systems.
Develop reusable automation frameworks and tooling libraries.
Participate in defining best practices for testing and development.
Support homegrown native technologies and ensure their reliability and scalability.
Document solutions clearly and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Required Qualifications
2–5 years of professional software engineering experience .
Strong preference for 2+ years of experience with a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficient in Python or Go for backend development.
Advanced skills in JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
Experience working in full-stack environments.
Understanding of test principles and methodologies (hands-on testing experience is a plus).
Familiarity with tools like Playwright or other modern automation frameworks.
Knowledge of API and backend automation techniques.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.
Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a highly autonomous environment.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
