In this position you will be responsible for delivering enterprise-grade applications in a fast-paced, Agile studio. The ideal Software Engineer Jr. candidate is resourceful, possesses strong logic skills, proficient in communication/documentation, is dependable, and takes pride in their work. Attention to detail and the ability to “think like the user” is critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

Build applications, server-side logic and/or SQL database models
Coordinate with your Project Manager and team using Jira and Slack
Navigate Confluence to research product requirements
Take pride in your work and ensure that all milestones are met
Create strong User Interfaces (UI) and User Experiences (UX)
Be dependable and present throughout the work week
Collaborate with and potentially lead other developers
Communicate effectively in English

Requirements:

Keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Passion for quality assurance and testing

Core Skills (as many as possible):

Server side development - (C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, RegEx)
Front end development - (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Database skills in SQL - modeling, manipulating, and retrieving data
Experience creating and consuming REST APIs
Experience researching solutions
Experience maintaining & expanding existing code bases
Competence documenting your work & the work of others

Bonus points:

OutSystems development experience
OutSystems certifications held
Swift development experience creating native iOS / iPadOS / macOS applications with SwiftUI or UIKit
Unity (C#)

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science or related field
