We’re looking for an experienced software developer with an emphasis on web application design and development. Familiarity with C# and Microsoft .NET technologies for the back end and JavaScript w/jQuery on the front end. The job is in person/ in the office located in Ames, IA.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain software applications and solutions

- Execute full lifecycle software development.

- Integrate software components into a fully functional software system.

- Comply with project plans and industry standards.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

Skills:

- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

- Demonstrated computer skills - Windows/Mac/iOS, web browser software integration, MS Office, Confluence, and various software development tools.

- Ability to develop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
