About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a NET Developer to work in the Philadelphia Corporate office. The NET Developer will troubleshoot data issues, design new reports and implement new code based on business requirements. This position is responsible for providing day to day support for all SQL based applications including the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and its related interfaces.

Responsibilities

Write and test VB Applications using Visual Studio.Net, Visual Studio 6, T-SQL, Active Server Pages, MS Access and MS SQL Server.
Maintain and design complex SQL Stored procedures and SSIS Packages
Update legacy applications to take advantage of newer development methods, best practices or upgraded platforms.
Develop and generate test data sets to support the testing of new functionality and features for development team.
Ensure that the data used for testing is realistic, relevant, and adheres to specified requirements.
Collaborate with the development team to identify and address potential data-related issues during testing.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of development processes, methodologies, and changes.
Document code and workflows to ensure clarity and understanding for future development and troubleshooting.
Ensure that all project specifications, user stories, and technical details are clearly recorded and accessible.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of Microsoft development tools such as Visual Studio .NET (VB.Net, ASP.Net, Visual C++.Net, C#.Net).
Working knowledge of database technologies such as MS SQL Server (2017/2019/2022), SQL Stored Procedures, SSIS Packages (SQL Server Integration Services), T-SQL (Transact-SQL), MS Analysis Services, and SQL Replication.
Working knowledge of additional technologies such as MS Access and Relational Database Modeling.
An in-depth grasp of SQL reporting and UI development

High school diploma or its equivalent required; undergraduate degree in IT, Accounting, Finance or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years VB / MS SQL application development experience; Minimum of 2 years of experience in SQL Server programming, including replication processes.
Previous experience delivering outstanding application support required.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
