About the Role

The .NET Application developer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and modernizing web applications and forms used within the organization. The role requires expertise in .NET development, WebForms (ASPX, ASMX), and REST APIs, with opportunities to work on migrating legacy .NET applications to .NET Standard and .NET Core. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to work with both legacy and modern web technologies.

Requirements

1+ years of experience in software development with a focus on .NET technologies.
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience required.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Proficiency in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET Standard.
Experience with WebForms technologies (ASPX, ASMX).
Strong knowledge of MVC, C#, Web API, and RESTful services.
Understanding of SQL databases and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.).
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end integration.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in migrating .NET Framework applications to .NET Standard or .NET Core.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including Lambda configuration and serverless computing.
Experience working with modern DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated deployments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain web applications, forms, and APIs using .NET technologies.
Modernize and migrate legacy .NET Framework applications to .NET Core/.NET Standard.
Optimize and enhance WebForms-based applications (ASPX, ASMX) to improve performance and maintainability.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with other systems and services.
Work with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
Operate within Agile development processes and collaborate with other engineers on code reviews and best practices.
Stay up to date with emerging .NET and cloud technologies to drive improvements in software architecture and development practices.
