Job Description:
Seeking for a Senior Application Programmer to lead and support critical development initiatives. This role focuses on developing and managing Microsoft Power BI dashboards, implementing infrastructure to support business requirements. The successful candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Development and Configuration
- Develop, administer, configure, and support Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Implement integrations with APIs, identity management, and related services.
- Develop integration strategies with robust validation and audit capabilities.
Application Deployment
- Lead application deployment processes adhering to standards.
- Configure and coordinate the implementation of infrastructure, including databases and servers.
- Use Visual Studio and Azure DevOps for source control and pipeline management.
Requirement Gathering and Stakeholder Communication
- Conduct discovery sessions with Business and Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand requirements.
- Facilitate meetings using interviews, workshops, and surveys to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
Implementation and Support
- Develop implementation timelines and checklists tailored to project needs.
- Facilitate testing activities, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and documenting results.
- Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, troubleshooting, and post-deployment support.
Qualifications:
Mandatory Expertise and Experience:
- 4+ years of expertise in Power Platform development, including PCF555 controls, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- 5+ years of experience with:
- C#, ASP.NET Core
- JavaScript, HTML/CSS
- Entity Framework
- Experience implementing Power BI dashboards for public consumption.
- Proficiency with SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server (T-SQL), Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience leading client engagements from strategy through solution implementation.
- Leadership experience in managing a team of developers.
