We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX to enhance the Joint Cybersecurity Authorization Management (JCAM) system, our high-visibility federal cybersecurity application. This role is central to improving the user experience of a mission-critical application that ensures FISMA compliance and secures vital federal systems across the government. As a full-stack developer passionate about creating intuitive and accessible applications, you’ll contribute to the modernization of JCAM by implementing .NET Core and Blazor solutions and applying best practices in UI/UX, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Drive UI/UX modernization by transitioning legacy Web Forms components in JCAM to a .NET Core and Blazor-based architecture.
- Design and implement engaging, responsive front ends using Blazor, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like Bootstrap, emphasizing user experience and Section 508 accessibility compliance.
- Develop dynamic data visualizations with FusionCharts, ensuring clarity and usability.
- Collaborate with backend teams to integrate secure SQL Server data solutions for optimal performance and security.
- Conduct user experience testing and iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback to ensure high usability standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development, including .NET 4.8 and .NET Core, with a focus on front-end development and UI/UX.
- Proficiency in Blazor, HTML, CSS, and responsive design with frameworks like Bootstrap.
- Strong full-stack development experience, with a commitment to secure, high-performance application design.
- Familiarity with FISMA compliance standards, secure application practices, and Section 508 accessibility requirements in government systems.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly desired.
Bonus Experience
- Experience in converting wireframes and graphic designs into effective web interfaces.
- Background in UX research, testing, and front-end graphic design.
- Government or DOJ cybersecurity experience, particularly FISMA A&A accreditation.
