ETS is a rapidly expanding Managed Services Provider for small to medium sized enterprise companies in the Healthcare, Government, Financial and Construction industries. Our MSP Systems Administrator are responsible for delivering all aspects of our Managed Services offering including services, consulting, and planning for future client needs and growth. This position is highly visible to our clients, and all team members. You must enjoy meeting with clients, and consistently instill trust and confidence in all technical matters.
Brief Job Description:
This position will be based out of the Bloomington, IL location and will be part of our IT Services Department. The Senior Systems Administrator position will act as a main technical asset for our clients and internal resources. It will be required to travel to all clients inside the Bloomington area and East Zones when needed and be able to represent ETS in a professional and Enterprise level. It will also be required to perform secondary technical tasks for all other MSP Zones including but not limited to remote break fix, asset management and sales investigations.
Specific job duties include:
- Expert technical knowledge with an understanding for managing multiple diverse environments
- Deliver Enterprise level technical support covering a wide breadth of technical matters
- Design, plan and implement Expert technical solutions. Including meeting with clients and managing technical resources as needed
- Solve problems. All our Engineers must have a passion for customer service and solving problems the correct way first. Handle escalations from All-levels of Administrators, Engineers and Technicians. Including, being receptive and eager to help others when needed and following back up with them to train and understand why they were unable to handle the situation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience
- Expert understanding of small/medium business technology and business acumen related to small/medium businesses
- Excellent writing and communication skills, demonstrated ability to help create and follow comprehensive technology analysis documents, instruction sheets, and process documentation for current and potential programs
- Proactive communicator with entry levels of staff. Being able to hand off details to management for mid to executive level staff, while maintaining the ability to maintain open communication with others
- Self-motivated and directed exceptional customer service orientation and dedication to meeting deadlines
- History of balancing multiple priorities and the ability to adapt and change focus as deadlines or customer needs shift
- Embrace accountability and encourage others around them to do the same
- Must have excellent time management and be familiar with time tracking
Strongly Preferred:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
· Managed IT experience holding technical positions
· Healthcare and Government Contracting experience preferred but not required
· Core Competencies: Cisco Meraki, NinjaRMM, ConnectWise Manage, ITGlue, Sophos, DATTO, Acronis, Axcient, ConnectSecure and 3CX experience preferred but not required
· Hardware: Maintain, assess, configure, and deploy switches, routers, firewalls, PCs, Servers and all other products and service in the IS umbrella.
· Network Technologies/Topologies: WAN/LAN, Layer 2, Layer 3 networking, Multicast networking, QOS, Security, VPN, SSL VPN, IPSec VPN
· Virtualization: VMware, HyperV and Azure Hosted Virtual environments
· Operating System/utilities: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 2022 Server, Windows 2019 Server, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft/Office 365, Exchange, Intune, Active Directory, Unifi, SonicwallOS
