CornerStone Staffing is seeking experienced Senior .NET Developers to support our client, in Fort Worth, TX. This is a contract opportunity for skilled backend developers who excel in building high-performance applications and scalable solutions. Candidates must be comfortable working onsite four days a week with two remote workdays and should be prepared for periodic on-call support.
Job Overview
The Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and working on distributed systems that incorporate message brokers and SQL Server for optimized data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain application services using .NET Core/.NET 6 and related technologies.
Build high-performance, scalable backend solutions for enterprise applications.
Optimize and maintain SQL Server databases to ensure efficiency and reliability.
Implement and manage message broker systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, WebSphere MQ, etc.) to enhance system communication.
Develop concurrent and parallel processing solutions to improve performance.
Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and upgrading existing systems to maintain high-quality standards.
Provide on-call support every seven weeks as part of the team rotation.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of professional experience in .NET development.
Expertise in .NET Core and .NET 6 development.
Strong experience with SQL Server and database optimization.
Hands-on experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or WebSphere MQ.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area and able to work onsite four days a week.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with Splunk for monitoring and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of distributed caching techniques such as Redis or Memcached.
