Job Type: Full-Time, Non-exempt

Pay: Hourly, Biweekly

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with a half-hour lunch or 5 PM with an hour lunch. This position requires 40+ hours a week depending on workload.

Key Responsibilities

Architect enterprise-level software solutions and leads the proposal of architect of each project to the manager
Continuously learn latest trends and practices
Help guide and mentor team on best practices and trends in the industry
Help us abide by the agile principals here -> https://agilemanifesto.org/
Work with department manager to prioritize projects/tasks for the team and plan work schedules accordingly
Help ensure software solutions are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must be able to work onsite in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on any given day
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent on the job experience
Experience leading teams and projects
Knowledge of Scrum or Agile methodologies
Experience developing and maintaining functions within cloud computing platforms such as Microsoft Azure & AWS
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalize ideas
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent ability to work within team environment
Strong understanding of proper software design and architecture
5+ years of experience doing software development in a professional setting
2+ years of experience with cloud computing systems and various backend development languages (specifically Javascript) in a professional setting

Shopify – ecommerce cart/website framework
Liquid/HTML/SCSS – front-end languages/framework
VSCode – IDE
Github – source control/code repository
Postman – API testing/debugging tool
