Responsibilities
As a member of the IT division, you will be responsible for updating rules in an estimating spreadsheet, including maintaining component costs, researching costs and components with vendors, reviewing ERP costs to compare prices to estimates, and other miscellaneous tasks to help with estimating accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in electrical power industry.
- 5+ years with java experience
- Experience with Hibernate a huge plus
- Knowledge of LV/MV switchgear is a plus.
- Experience with the VLOOKUP function
- Communicate with the team to implement features
- Experience with ERP systems, including researching costs for components
- VBA experience a plus
- SQL familiarity a plus
- Git experience a plus
- Javascript experience a plus
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks
