Our ideal candidate thrives on challenges and enjoys solving problems in a fast-paced environment. They have VB.NET, C# development skills, excellent SQL skills, experience with or interest in XML and have worked on data transformation projects. They lean toward data engineering and may have experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Fabric, Spark, Power BI (or other comparable BI systems).. A TYPICAL DAY FOR DATA TRANSFORM
- Fix bugs or other errors in existing data transformation code that is written in VB.NET
- Create NuGet package for existing data transform core code
- Develop new transforms to meet the needs of customers
- Meet with team on requirements and potential solutions
- Recommend data flows and data architectural options
- Work with the team on data warehousing in Azure Fabric
REQUIRED:
- Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree or higher in computer science, business analytics or related field and/or equivalent practical experience with at least 3 - 4 years of experience working in a professional environment
- VB.NET
- XML and XSLT skills
- Advanced Intermediate SQL
- Experience in Data Transformation projects
PREFERRED:
- Data Engineering experiences
- Azure Fabric experience/knowledge
- Azure Data Factory experience
- C# experience
- Critical Thinker with technical skills in: Azure Data Factory and some knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, Postman, and Azure services.
