Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with experience in ERP systems and SQL development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports, to support data-driven decision-making. This role requires strong expertise in Power BI, SQL querying, and experience working with ERP systems to extract, transform, and visualize data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to meet business requirements.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from various ERP systems and other data sources for accurate reporting.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support business intelligence needs.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reporting by implementing data validation and governance best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Optimize Power BI performance, including DAX calculations and dataset modeling for efficient reporting.
- Work with IT teams to ensure seamless integration between Power BI, ERP systems, and other data sources.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any data-related or reporting issues.
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience working with Power BI (including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service).
- Strong experience in SQL development, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling best practices.
- Experience integrating Power BI with cloud and on-premises data sources.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize report performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Acumatica ERP, Epicore, Visual and thier data structures.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Microsoft .Net and Python for data automation.
- Microsoft Power BI certification is a plus.
