POSITION SUMMARY:
The Low Code Developer I requires a firm grasp of low code development principles and practices. This position is responsible for owning feature-sets from design to delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development & Design: Designs/builds IT solutions to meet business requirements. Develops and/or implements reusable components. Develops interface stubs and simulators, as needed. Develops FitNesse testing scripts for new features and modules. Performs testing script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations. Designs forms, solution security, data structures. May design process models. May design POCs. Develops less complex integrations with systems outside the low code platform. Performs end-to-end testing on existing integrations. May assist with complex integrations
Standards, Policies, and Procedures: Adheres Low Code UX guidelines. Adheres Low Code Developer best practices. Adheres to standards and procedures. Reviews modules for quality assurance.
Deployment & Production Support: Promotes bug fixes, feature enhancements, and solution packages from Dev to Test. May assist deploying features to production. May be called upon to provide support to business users.
Technology Evaluation & Research: Uses other learning platforms to expand knowledge beyond low code. Paying particular attention to reporting technologies. Watches reviews of work from other teams to stay current on platform capabilities. Reviews low code documentation and release notes to stay abreast of platform technical changes.
Coaching & Mentoring: Mentors juniors and peers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and relevant certification, OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 1-year relevant work experience, OR Bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED:
This is an entry-level position suitable for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience but a strong foundational knowledge of software development principles. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of basic technical skills and the soft skills necessary to contribute effectively to a development team. Exposure to low-code platforms, even at a fundamental level, will set candidates apart.
