Title – .Net Developer- Project Lead

Location – Columbia, SC

About the Role:

The South Carolina Department of Social Services (SC DSS) is seeking a highly skilled .Net Developer- Project Lead to join the Web Application Development team. The role is primarily focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical applications supporting DSS operations. The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge web application development technologies in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead code development and unit testing for web interfaces and services, using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, jQuery, Angular, WCF, Entity Framework, and MS SQL Server.
Collaborate on design, documentation, and implementation of subsystems and components.
Act as a technical leader ensuring efficient development and integration.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative environment.
Participate in testing and integration on both test and production servers.
Support technical infrastructure management (repositories, build, testing systems).

Required Skills:

7+ years of experience with .NET architecture, designing medium to large-scale systems.
5+ years in developing data-driven applications and web-based systems.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, WCF, jQuery, Angular, and MS SQL Server.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
