Role: Senior Developer

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Microsoft Developer to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that support KDE’s mission.
As a senior developer, you will play a key role in modernizing web applications, mentoring junior developers, and leading critical migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, and test web applications using the .NET 6 stack (C#).
- Maintain and modernize existing applications to enhance functionality and performance.
- Optimize web applications for responsiveness, efficiency, and consistency.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.
- Lead technical migration projects, including upgrades from .NET 4.8 to newer versions.
- Ensure adherence to Microsoft coding standards and contribute to best practices.
Infrastructure & Support
- Manage and maintain web servers across different environments.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system stability.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including .NET 6, C#, and SQL Server.
- Experience in modernizing and maintaining enterprise web applications.
- Strong knowledge of web server management and optimization techniques.
- Proven ability to lead development projects and mentor junior team members.
- Hands-on experience with technical migrations (e.g., upgrading from .NET 4.8).
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather and implement business requirements.
