Full Stack .NET Lead Angular Developer
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Preferred)
Secondary Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
Duration: 24 months + (with the ideal goal of converting to Full-Time Employee)
Employment Type: W2 only (No C2C or sponsorship offered)
Why This Role Exists:
This team is seeking a Full Stack .NET Lead Developer to spearhead a significant re-platforming initiative across a portfolio of six critical .NET applications. This role requires providing both technical leadership and hands-on development expertise.
Mission:
The successful candidate will lead development efforts to modernize and migrate multiple applications to OpenShift within the data center environment. This includes establishing development best practices, driving test automation, and guiding production releases.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on development across a portfolio of 6 .NET/Angular applications, effectively managing multiple priorities.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to migrate legacy applications to OpenShift and modern .NET Core environments.
- Implement and oversee test automation strategies, with a strong emphasis on Playwright or similar tools.
- Lead and mentor developers, providing technical guidance and conducting code reviews to enhance team performance.
- Drive production release readiness, contributing to the improvement of the team's development and deployment processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Full Stack Development experience with a focus on .NET Core (back-end) and Angular 8+ (ideally Angular 11 or higher).
- Proven experience leading development teams or serving as a technical lead across multiple applications.
- Strong background in re-platforming, application modernization, or lift-and-shift projects.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (preferably Playwright).
- Experience supporting production releases and implementing DevOps best practices.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience migrating applications into OpenShift or other containerized environments.
- Exposure to SQL Server or MongoDB.
- Previous experience working in enterprise environments managing multiple applications concurrently.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
