About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Technology Lead with over 15 years of experience in software development and leadership. This is a high-impact role at a fast-moving hedge fund with billions in assets under management. You will lead the architecture, development, and ongoing enhancement of core financial systems—particularly in support of fixed income strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable systems using C# and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Lead a small team of developers, serving as both a technical architect and mentor.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, operations, and compliance teams.
- Modernize and maintain systems used for pricing, trade capture, and reporting.
- Ensure code quality, security, and high availability for mission-critical processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering with deep knowledge of C# and MSSQL.
- Hands-on development track record; must be able to actively contribute code.
- Prior experience in the U.S. financial services industry, ideally within hedge funds or asset management.
- Solid understanding of fixed income products, trade flows, and valuation.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with Advent Geneva or similar portfolio accounting systems.
- Experience with cloud migration, system integration, and real-time data processing.
