Job Title: .NET Software Engineer

We are seeking a .NET Software Engineer to support integration efforts between .NET applications and Guidewire ClaimCenter. This role involves developing and maintaining APIs, managing batch and FTP processes, handling XML files, and enhancing legacy codebases. The position is remote, but candidates must be based in the Portland, OR area.

Build integrations between .NET applications and Guidewire ClaimCenter.

Design, develop, document, and test complex programs following established methodologies and standards.

Develop and maintain APIs to transmit data between applications and databases.

Handle FTP processes for uploading/downloading XML files and mapping them to claims systems.

Troubleshoot and enhance legacy code to support new functionality.

Collaborate with business analysts to gather and interpret business/system requirements.

Create program design documentation aligned with organizational standards.

Manage assignments, provide timely status updates, and meet delivery timelines.

Determine resource needs and lead development efforts using project management best practices.

Evaluate and recommend development tools and make buy-vs-build recommendations.

Analyze cross-system impacts and ensure thorough end-to-end integration.

Partner with QA to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Mentor team members and promote software engineering best practices.

Work inclusively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.

5+ years of experience in software development with web-based design and relational databases.

Proficiency in:
- .NET web application development

Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter is preferred, but not required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
